I have had my landing gear for about two weeks now. It took about a day to get comfortable with it, showing that the learning curve is very short. I mostly use it in manual mode. It is very helpful in backing my Harley Heritage up. I feel that it has given me at
least five more years of riding. I am 79 years old and went from hesitant riding to fully confident stops, starts, and backing into parking stalls, even with both legs being held together with rods, nuts, bolts and u- joints from a 39 Chevy.

Hello Pete,
I wanted to let you know your landing gear is exactly what we were looking for and exceeds our expectations. I did all the tests you show in your videos and these work flawless. Your instructions and the wiring diagrams were spot on. Having been riding goldwings for many years removing the plastics were simple for me for the installation.
Some of my friends that belong to a GW club were really impressed with your product and asked me to attend their meeting this weekend to demonstrate the leg-up system which I quickly agreed. There was one small detail if you want to share with your customers, on the 2012 Tru 2017 the saddle bag is shaped different from 01 -11 models so I put a 2x6 block under the compressor for it to sit in it's resting place and works out great. Once again thank you.

Hi,
Just to let you know I, with the help of a friend installed the landing gear today š It all went to plan and to your instructions. Everything tested out first time with no issues. I have left it in my friends garage overnight because I need to read and digest the user manual before driving it out and to get familiar with it.
The rear crash bars could not be fitted with the units in place sadly. I may see if I can get them altered if I feel the need.
Thanks for help with the darn Canadian flipping customs.

I completed the install this weekend. Your instructions and photos were excellent. I knew where I was at every step of the install. Iām 71 years old with one titanium knee, and SS plates and screws in the other. I also have an unpredictable vertigo disorder that can hit me at any time. Otherwise Iām in good health and was contemplating buying a trike, which I did not want to do. Iām a 57 year rider and donāt want to give it up yet. Your Legup LandinGear system is going to add several more years of two wheel riding for me. And thanks for your advice and discussions.

So hereās a review. āLove the Leg Up Gen II system. Practiced as recommended and have mastered the system. The local Harley dealer told me I canāt compete in the slow ride competition š¤£š Their afraid my system is so fast I will have it down and up before they see it happen. Recommend anyone that needs assistance holding their bike up to purchase this systemā.

This past weekend my wife and I spent three days touring in West Virginia. There were three solo bikes plus the two of us on our Goldwing. We were the fourth in line, falling a bit behind the riders on the more sport oriented machinery in the technical parts and catching up on the straights. Yes, there were times that they waited for us at intersections because there weren't a lot of straight parts on our route! Still, my Goldwing continues to identify as a sport touring bike!
I did notice a slight reduction in the usable lean angle. (It's West Virginia, and we rode some of tightest paved roads in the state!) I increased the pre-load on the pneumatic shocks by 5 more pounds and, while not exactly hanging off with the Goldwing's seat, I did shift my weight and body around more vigorously! I think that the wheel would engage on a hard lean, so it was more of a reminder to back off the throttle and shift my weight than a tipover threat. Good design!
This was the big test for the LandinGear, and it passed with flying colors! I have spent some time using it solo and on a few shorter two-up rides. So I had a decent idea of when to deploy, and when not to. Bottom line: because of your product I was noticeably less fatigued during the later parts of the ride and at the end of the day.

Thank you very much for overnighting the part that I needed to NY to help make my trip a success. Being 5ā3ā and weighing in at my fighting weight of 125, I need all the help that I can get to toss this 950 pound beast around. My buddy Tom and I did 1760 miles in 6 days before returning to Pa. I could not and would not do it with out the landingear.
Iām 68 and not ready for a trike. Once again, thank you Pete.

I have put about 1000 miles on bike since installing. A little weird getting used to the system, however works as advertised. Really like being able to push bike out of parking slot due to muscle atrophy. Thank you for the help.

Hey Pete,
The landing gear is getting a lot of promotion in Australia. Here is an article that was all over the press plus a podcast. John Liras did the installation and testing and has made numerous corrections to the original instructions. He did a fantastic job and the landing gear works really well.
